I love movie cast posts - so much fun! I have pretty much fallen in love with a lot of the characters from this series and so I was super excited to see who Lauren would pick for her movie cast post. I am most impressed by Ed Westwick as Cam. I think he is a perfect choice, and it totally makes my crush on Cam even more out of control. Ahem!

Lucy Hale as Lucinda Price
Luce is seventeen with big hazel eyes, tiny teeth, and a cascade of long black hair. She’s innocent and sexy in the same breath with very compassionate eyes. Her character is based originally on my oldest friend, and when I saw Lucy Hale in Pretty Little Liars, I thought she was a perfect match for Luce.
Ed Westwick as Cam Briel
I love Ed’s portrayal of Chuck Bass in Gossip Girl. Cam is the ultimate bad boy but he’s also based on my husband, so he’s one of my favorite characters in the series. He’s thin with dark hair, pale skin, and very intense green eyes. He’s disarmingly attractive and he’s an excellent judge of character.
Emma Stone as Arriane Alter
Emma wowed me so much in Superbad. She’s funny, spunky, and arrestingly beautiful. In the books, Arriane is wispy with wild dark hair and pale blue eyes, but it’s mostly Emma’s personality on screen that makes me want her to play Arriane in the movies.
Michael Cera as Miles Fisher
Miles is the best friend that every girl comes very close to falling for. He’s sweet, shy, funny, ever so slightly awkward, with bright blue eyes, sandy brown hair and a baseball cap perpetually tugged over his eyes.
Jennifer Lawrence as Shelby Sterris
This is a long shot but she’s such a wonderful actor. I loved Jennifer in Winter’s Bone. Shelby’s complicated because she’s got a gruff exterior, but she’s an invaluable friend to Luce over the course of the series.
Ruta Lee as Miss Sophia
Miss Sophia has the glamour of an aging starlet, the poise of a queen, and the ability to turn into a shocking villain in an instant. Ruta has the old school glamour and the pizzazz to play a very dynamic role in the series.
You may have noticed I’ve left off Gabbe, Roland, and most notably Daniel. That’s because I have not yet seen an actor who seems right for any of these roles. I’ve got my Daniel-radar on at all times but I haven’t seen him yet. I’m open to suggestions, though.
