About The Vincent Boys
Get seduced by a sizzling account of attraction and betrayal in this previously self-published phenomenon.
Ashton is getting tired of being good, of impressing her parents and playing ideal girlfriend to Sawyer Vincent. Sawyer is perfect, a regular Prince Charming, but when he leaves town for the summer, it’s his cousin Beau who catches Ashton’s eye. Beau is the sexiest guy she’s ever seen, and even though he’s dangerous, Ashton is drawn to him.
Beau loves his cousin like a brother, so the last thing he wants to do is make a move on Sawyer’s girl. Ashton is off-limits, absolutely. That’s why he does his best to keep his distance, even though he’s been in love with her forever. When Ashton wants to rekindle their childhood friendship in Sawyer’s absence, Beau knows he should say no.
Ashton and Beau don’t want to hurt Sawyer. But the more they try to stay away from each other, the more intense their urges become. It’s getting way too hard to resist....
The Vincent Boys is in stores now! The sequel to The Vincent Boys, The Vincent Brothers will be released December 18, 2012.
About the author
Abbi Glines can be found hanging out with rockstars, taking out her yacht on weekends for a party cruise, sky diving, or surfing in Maui. Okay maybe she needs to keep her imagination focused on her writing only. In the real world, Abbi can be found hauling kids (several who seem to show up that don’t belong to her) to all their social events, hiding under the covers with her MacBook in hopes her husband won’t catch her watching Buffy on Netflix again, and sneaking off to Barnes and Noble to spend hours lost in the yummy goodness of books.

The Vincent Boys is a seductive story of attraction and betrayal. This November, the Vincent boys are helping us remember the guys who have both stolen and broken our hearts.
Regular readers of this blog might know by now that I just love boys in books.  From Adrian Ivashkov (Vampire Academy) to  Etienne St. Clair (Anna and the French Kiss), my book crush boys are many and varied  - I even have a whole Pinterest board dedicated to Books With The Best Boys - Check it out!  But, if there's one book boy who fits my real life 'type' to a tee (I totally have a type!) It's Noah Shaw (The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer),often referred to as Noah Shaw OMFG! by me. As in Noah Shaw. IN. A. Tux. OMFG. Hot, hot, hot!!
I totally need to get a t-shirt emblazoned with the words 'I lost my heart to Noah Shaw,' and here's why:
The guy above is actor Luke Grimes, whose picture I stumbled across while doing a little research for my NaNoWriMo project. (Yes, it was all in the name of research!)  I think he fits Noah to a tee!  Noah is presented to us as a bad boy, and kind of an ass,  but like all the best bad boys, there's so much more to Shaw than meets the eye. He's a guy with so many layers.  A man of mystery, if you like.  He's got bad habits (He smokes, he sleeps around, so we're told) and yet he's got the warmest heart (He loves animals - and that's always a major plus point, in my opinion!). Noah is drop dead gorgeous, but he usually looks like he's just fallen out of bed with dishevelled hair and a permanent shadow of stubble on his face.  He could care less about school, but he lives in a world of books, and he has a vocabulary that will make you go weak at the knees.  For real.  Noah is smart, really smart and he uses his smart mouth to great effect, like here:
“Have you kissed many boys before?" he asked quietly.
His question brought my mind back into focus. I raised an eyebrow. "Boys? That's an assumption."
Noah laughed, the sound low and husky. "Girls, then?"
"No."
"Not many girls? Or not many boys?"
"Neither," I said. Let him make of that what he would.
"How many?"
"Why—"
"I am taking away that word. You are no longer allowed to use it. How many?"
My cheeks flushed, but my voice was steady as I answered. "One."
At this, Noah leaned in impossibly closer, the slender muscles in his forearm flexing as he bent his elbow to bring himself nearer to me, almost touching. I was heady with the proximity of him and grew legitimately concerned that my heart might explode. Maybe Noah wasn't asking. Maybe I didn't mind. I closed my eyes and felt Noah's five o' clock graze my jaw, and the faintest whisper of his lips at my ear.
"He was doing it wrong.”

*FAINTS*
Noah can be romantic too.  If you haven't already you need to check out The Evolution of Mara Dyer and what I like to refer to as "The Tux Scene!" So, so, so, so hot!
“This was the boy I loved. A little bit messy. A little bit ruined. A beautiful disaster. Just like me.”

But, wait! If Luke as Noah doesn't float your boat, here are some back up choices.  And this time I've picked British actors, because, if you didn't know, Noah has a British accent.
Ah, Douglas Booth.  Usually this guy is too clean-shaven for Noah, but here he looks just right.
I couldn't leave out Rob.  He is *the* perfect Noah, don't you think?
I'm hoping that The Vincent Boys will provide me with more boys to add to my ever growing book crush list! Will I be Team Sawyer or Team Beau? I can't wait to find out!
