I reviewed Easy a while back and enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to checking out some of Webber's other works when they release in the UK.
If Easy gets a UK cover makeover for its print release, I'll be sure to document that here!
Have you read Easy by Tammara Webber? What did you think?
Razorbill, the teenage imprint of Penguin Children's, has acquired UK and Commonwealth rights in six books by New York Times bestselling author Tammara Webber, including the smash-hit New Adult title Easy. Webber has self-published her books since 2011, and this is her first publishing deal in the English language, with foreign rights sales to Germany, Italy, Spain and France.
Shannon Cullen says:
'We are so excited to be publishing Tammara's novels. Her writing is contemporary and perfectly pitched, with a voice that genuinely appeals to both teen and adult readers. We have noticed the emergence of this New Adult genre in recent months, especially in self-publishing, and are delighted to be publishing one of the bestselling authors in this area. New Adult titles tend to be sizzling romances set at college or university; the perfect setting for a genuine crossover audience. At Penguin we have the breadth to speak to a wide audience and capture both YA and adult fans, who we know have already been drawn to Tammara's fantastic books in big numbers. We're pleased to be paving the way in this truly exciting new area, with a very talented author.'
Tammara Webber says:
'I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to partner with Razorbill to bring my novels to a broader UK reading market. Penguin is recognized by readers as a provider of quality literature, and is a widely-respected leader in the global publishing world. I'm so pleased they've chosen my books as part of their entrance into New Adult fiction.'
Easy and the three titles in Webber's Between the Lines series will be published by Razorbill as ebooks on 13th September 2012 followed by print editions in early 2013.
