Gift Ideas: The Book Lovers Guide to Christmas 2013.

Have you started your Christmas shopping yet?

I started yesterday. I operate on a 'one for you, one for me' basis when it comes to Christmas shopping. It makes the whole experience so much more fun, don't you think?

So far in the course of my Christmas shopping I've treated myself to a book on River Phoenix, a dress and some make-up and beauty goodies too.

If you're shopping for gifts for the book lover in your life this Christmas (or maybe just treating yourself to a little something) here's a handy gift guide to help you along the way.

First, I hit up Amazon. I'm a big fan of doing all my Christmas shopping online.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire - The Official Illustrated Movie Companion.
I finally got around to reading The Hunger Games trilogy recently and while I haven't yet seen Catching Fire, I'm pretty sure this one be a great gift for any fan of the books or movies. You can also pick up The Hunger Games Classic boxed set on Amazon for a great price at the moment - 51% off at the time of writing.

I'm a big fan of this series, but I have a mismatched set (original UK Divergent, followed by the new covers of the next two books). If you have a Divergent fan in your life that's in the same position as me, then they'll appreciate this set. Also, who doesn't want more Four in their lives? This is the gift that just keeps on giving!

A classic stocking stuffer for book lovers everywhere. This is the book that tells you what to read next. Sounds pretty cool to me. I haven't read this book so I can't vouch for the quality of the recommendations, but the reviews are all pretty positive.

Personally, I have yet to read John Green, but I reckon this would be a good place to start. Also, any fans of Green's books are going to love this set. At the time of writing it's selling at 38% off on Amazon. Bargain.

If you missed it on TV, then Christmas is the perfect time to catch up on The White Queen. Or you might already have seen it and just want to check out Max Irons and Aneurin Barnard all over again. I won't judge.

Next Up, Asos.

Because Book Lovers always need Book Bags.

These festive book bags from Jack Wills would make a great Christmas gift.

And, finally, those last minute stocking stuffers...

Fill it with a book from their wish list and some essential 'reading accessories' - a bookish mug, hot chocolate and some cute bookmarks to make a great bookish gift.

A must have for the book loving fashionista in your life.

When you are all out of ideas, you can't go wrong with one of these!

You have a lot of books - you need bookends. I speak from experience and as someone who just today experienced a bookalanche (a book avalanche?) while I was rearranging my shelves. Because I don't have bookends. Lesson learned.

Because hot chocolate is a winter reading essential and what better to drink it from than this very cute First Lines Literature Mug.

Hope you got some Christmas gift ideas! If you have any bookish gift ideas to share, let me know in comments!
